What We Know:

Date: Friday, October 3rd.

What to wear: Any LCN gear you may have. Especially old show shirts!

What to bring: Your instrument! Music, if you can print it off. Flip folder, if you need it. See below regarding LCN instrument availability.

You must register - REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED! Please register by Thursday, September 25th. If you missed the deadline, please email Mr. Oranchak at orancsc@lc-ps.org.

Parade - Many alumni marched with us in the parade last year. Any alumni wishing to march in the parade will want to be at the school at 4:00pm. The band will begin to line up between 4:30pm and 4:45pm.

Dinner - For those alumni marching in the parade, we will have dinner for you upon our return to the school. Homecoming dinner is usually pizza......

TIMELINE & OTHER DETAILS

• Timing - ​​

  • 4:00pm - Door #46 (Choir Room) opened for alumni. The choir room is where we will keep alumni cases and other items. 

  • 4:30-ish - Begin line-up for Homecoming Parade.

  • 5:00pm - Parade begins. The band will take roughly 30 minutes to complete the parade.

  • 5:40pm - Dinner (pizza?) served to students and alumni participating in the parade.

  • 6:10pm - Run through of pre-game music outside band room.

  • 6:30pm - Walk to the stadium

  • 6:50pm - Pre-Game

  • 6:57pm - Star Spangled Banner

  • 7:00pm - Kick-Off

  • Due to homecoming, the Marching Band will perform their Show immediately following the football game. We hope you will stay!

Marching Equipment

• Instruments - Due to increased enrollment and condition/age of school instruments, we have an extremely limited supply of school instruments for our alumni. We currently are not able to supply ANY woodwind instrument. Below are the brass instruments that might be available:

  • Trumpet - 1 or 2

  • Mellophone - 1 or 2 (but we don't have any mouthpieces.....)

  • Marching Baritones - 1 or 2

  • Sousaphones - 1 or 2

  • Marching Percussion - since we will need to borrow middle school marching percussion for our alumni, we must know you are coming at least 1 week in advance of Homecoming.

• Flip folders - We have very few flip folders available (like 1 or 2....seriously). Sorry :(

• Music - below are the PDFs of our pregame and bleacher music. We would appreciate if you could print off your own music. If necessary, we will supply a copy, but we need to know well in advance.
